The Edo State Task Force Against Human Trafficking received its first returnees in 2023 on Saturday, 2nd April 2023. All 47 persons from Libya were received at the Edo State Migrants Rehabilitation Shelter in Benin City.

Shortly after their arrival and in line with the ETAHT reception protocol, they were all given medical attention and temporary accommodation.
