ETAHT Visit Edo University, Iyamho

The Edo state task force against human trafficking advocacy campaign team and some Other government official paid a courtesy visit to Edo university Iyamho on Tuesday to sensitize staff and management of the institution.
The chairperson and her team was received by Prof S.M Omodia (deputy vice chancellor), Dr (mrs) I. Ogboro ( Registrar),Mr C.O Okhani (Bursar) and other staffs.
The chairperson Prof Yinka Omorogbe who led the team said the purpose of the visit was to create a working relationship between the school and the task force.she added that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow as such it is important for our institutions to teach them morals and the right way to live.however statistic has shown that from 14-35 of age are vulnerable to human trafficking and irregular migration in Nigeria .this has prompt us as a task force to sensitize and enlighten the youth on the dangers involved in this perilous journey. she further explain that this meeting should not end in this board room but rather been taking to class room for student to be aware of this campaign .
Prof S.M Omodia (deputy vice chancellor) commended the government for this initiative of setting up the task force to help fight human trafficking and irregular migration.the deputy vice chancellor uses this medium to appreciate the chairperson and her team for a good work done in Edo state to reduce human trafficking.
Mrs Haija maimuna who's is a member of the task force and also former commissioner for women affairs, commended the management of Edo university for the warm welcome giving to them. She further stressed that this fight is a collective effort and not a one man show,institutions should also learn to spread the news too.
The chairperson was also accompanied by Mrs Lilian Garuba (Asist Sec ETAHT),Mr Christopher Ogbomo (Director of finance ETAHT), Mr Emmanuel Sule (SSA on Donor Agencies),Mr Marvelous (SSA on Political), Uhunmwangho Endurance (ETAHT COMM officer )and others Members. @ Edo (state)
